So unless you live in a cave (in which case, HOW THE HELL ARE YOU READING THIS?), I can safely assume that you have heard about the airline shooting that occurred recently.

Just in case:

Shooting shows how air marshals must think fast

WASHINGTON — The shooting incident at Miami International Airport on Wednesday produced the first real-world, life-or-death test of the federal air marshals system since Sept. 11, 2001. And in the immediate aftermath, federal officials said it appeared the marshals had followed established procedures and done exactly what they were supposed to do in bringing down a man who said he had a bomb.

But given the circumstances of the case — the man authorities killed turned out to be an unarmed mental patient with no explosives — security experts in and out of government will be asking if the price of safeguarding air travel includes the possibility that innocent Americans will die.

Yes, it just may, but if some idiot (mental patient or not) decides to yell on a plane that he has a bomb, well, I say that all ended well.

Now the leberal pussies will whine that he was mentally incapable of controlling his actions, and this is true, but if this was not communicated to the airline (and therefore to the Marshalls) in advance, then theirs was a prudent course of action.

And personally I'm ok with a few idiots passing on if it makes the world a safer place for those of us who would not be dumb enough to try a stunt such as this, or , if mentally incapacitated such as this guy, ensure that the airline knows and is prepared for anything that they may do.
